the Options tab was added. This tab provides you the ability to tune several areas of myKryptofon:
Enable bandwidth reduction mode - myKryptofon's default network bandwidth setting is tuned to provide you a high quality voice experience. In specific situations where you have limited data bandwidth, you may choose to decrease the bandwidth consumption. In reduction mode, myKryptofon will utilize between 5.7kbps - 6.2kbps. This is useful in wireless situations such as low quality Wi-Fi, wireless telecomm air cards or connection to your computer via your cell phone cable.
Enable "stealth" mode - Stealth mode turns off your presence indicator to others in the network. You will appear offline to other users, yet will still be able to make/receive voice calls, and utilize your text chat capability. In this mode, others on the network can still call and text chat to you.
Auto-answer - Automatically answer incoming calls after the designated number of seconds.
Text Chat Enhancements
The Compose Area was increased in size to provide multi-line input
The Message and Compose Areas provide visual feedback for secured and unsecured text chat. A green border appears for unsecured text chat, and a red border appears for secured text chat.
Flashing windows
The Main Window header will flash on an incoming call
The Text Chat Window header will flash on an incoming text chat
Voicemail in Secured Voice Mode - myKryptofon will now recognize the fact that your call was forwarded to a different destination, and will automatically drop out of secured mode. This situation typically occurs when your call is forwarded to the voice mail system. Once the call is complete, myKryptofon returns to secured mode.
Multiple SIP Accounts - Version 2 allows you to configure multiple SIP accounts, providing a simple to use interface in the Account Manager tab.
Presence - In the Contacts tab, you can determine whether someone in your address book is online or not. A green dot next to their display name will appear when they are registered online with their server. A red dot appears when they are not online, or they have Do Not Disturb (DND) turned on.
Call by Typing a SIP Address - in the KeyPad tab, you may now call someone by typing their SIP address without the need to place them into the Contacts list.
Call by Double Clicking - in the Contacts tab, simply double click on one of the entries in the contact list, to call that person.
