Alert Tone Manager - myKryptofon comes with a large selection of custom alert tones. You can add new wav files to the list of alert tones, as well as, delete and rename alert tones. Click this button to open the Alert Tone Manager window . |
| Enable bandwidth reduction mode | myKryptofon's default network bandwidth setting is tuned to provide you a high quality voice experience. In specific situations where you have limited data bandwidth, you may choose to decrease the bandwidth consumption. In reduction mode, myKryptofon will utilize a maximum of between 5.7kbps - 6.2kbps. It will determine silent moments in the conversation, and drive the bandwidth down to near zero. This is useful in wireless situations such as low quality Wi-Fi, wireless telecomm air cards or connection to your computer via your cell phone cable. |
| Enable "stealth" mode | Stealth mode turns off your presence indicator to others in the network. You will appear offline to other users, yet will still be able to make/receive voice calls, and utilize all other myKryptofon features. |
| Auto-answer | Automatically answer incoming calls after the designated number of seconds. |
| Enable Login | Use of the myKryptofon Login window can be enabled or disabled. When enabled, every time myKryptofon starts, the Login window is presented. The correct username and password must be entered in order to proceed. If disabled, the Login window is not shown, and myKryptofon will proceed without authenticating the user. |
| Reset Credentials | Clicking this button will clear any previously configured user name and password. This button can only be clicked when the Login window is enabled. After clearing the credentials, restart myKryptofon in order to configured a new user name and password. |
| Require Strong Passwords |
When enabled, myKryptofon will require that entered passwords meet the following requirements:
These requirements will apply to the Login password, and passwords used to export and send keys. |
