Main Window

The main window of myKryptofon is where all of the action begins.  There are several areas in the main window.

Program Management

Pull down menus provide access to several aspects of myKryptofon.

  • Exit
  • Help
  • Logging Information
Status

The Status area is comprised of two windows providing feedback to the user for

  • Account status information – the account with which you are successfully registered.
  • Transaction status information – feedback regarding current activity in myKryptofon.
Secure Call Activation

The Secure Call Activation area activates or deactivates the encryption keys for a voice conversation.  Actions include:

  • Generate and activate an Automatic Key for the current call
  • Activate/Deactivate an existing key
  • Select from existing keys
Controls

The Controls Area provides controls for making and receiving calls.  The actions include:

  • Answer / Make a Call
  • Do Not Disturb
  • Mute
  • Hold
  • End a Call
  • Microphone Volume Adjustment
  • Speaker Volume Adjustment
Functions

The Functions Area provides a series of tabs providing for:

  • Dialing PSTN (Normal Phone Lines)
  • Calling a VOIP/SIP address one time
  • Management and selection of your contacts
  • Management and creation of your encryption keys
  • Management of your VOIP/SIP accounts
Call Center / Conference Center Area The Call Center / Conference Center Area provides for management over your current call, be it a single call, or a conference.

Throughout all areas of myKryptofon, buttons and text areas are not active unless their action is allowed at the time.  For example, the mute button is disabled and shown as a faded button when you are not on a voice call.  In this state, the button can not be clicked.  If you are on a call, it is active and can be clicked.
