The Contacts tab is used to configure VOIP and PSTN addresses. If your SIP Server supports extensions, they can also be entered in the Contacts list as PSTN numbers.
In addition, this tab is used to:

Chat - a chat session to the selected contact entry is initiated. If multiple entries are selected in the Contacts List then they are all added to the chat session. |

Send Key - send a key to the selected contact(s). |

Send File - send a file to the selected contact(s). |

Send Contacts - send one or more Contact entries to the selected contact(s). |

Delete - delete the currently selected contacts entry. If multiple contact entries are selected in the Contacts List, they can all be deleted with one click of this button. |
| Contacts List |
The Contact List shows the display name for each of your contact entries. They are sorted into two groups - first all contacts that are on-line and then all contacts that are not on-line. Within each group. the contacts are in alphabetic order. Click on any line in this list, to populate the contact details information for that contact entry.
Double click a name to initiate a call to that contact. Multiple contact entries can be selected from the list, by holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard while clicking on each desired entry. This is useful to delete, call or text chat with multiple contacts. Next to each contact name is an "Available / Not-available" indicator (as called a Presence indicator).
In some cases, myKryptofon will have the Presence feature disabled in the program, in which case, no dot will be shown next to the Contact names. |

Save - after making changes to any of the entry fields, this button should be clicked to save the entered values. |

Undo - after making changes to any of the entry fields, this button can be clicked to restore all entry fields to their last saved values. |
| Display Name |
The Display Name is the name displayed for this contact entry, in the Contacts List. This name is also displayed in several other locations in myKryptofon. You can enter any name that will be descriptive to you. |
| Type |
The Type indicates the type of this contact entry, VOIP or Telephone Number (PSTN). If your VOIP service provider supports extensions, they can be entered as Telephone Number entries. |
| User Name |
User Name is the username portion of a VOIP address. VOIP addresses are always of the form username@domain. This field is shown when the Type of the contact entry is VOIP.
Phone Number - when the Type of the contact entry is Telephone Number, the User Name field is replaced with the Phone Number field. Phone numbers may contain digits, spaces, and the characters - ( ). |
| Domain |
The Domain is the domain portion of a VOIP address. VOIP addresses are always of the form username@domain. This field is shown when the Type of the contact entry is VOIP.
For convenience, when entering a contact entry, this field is pre-filled with the domain of the current registered account. |
| Use Custom Ringtones Checkbox |
The Use Custom Ringtones checkbox allows each contact entry to be configured to play custom ring tones. Separate ring tones can be specified for secured calls and unsecured (regular) calls. When this box is not checked, myKryptofon uses the default ring tone for all calls. |

Ringtone Manager - myKryptofon comes with a large selection of custom ring tones. You can add new wav files to the list of custom ring tones, as well as, delete and rename ring tones. Click this button to open the Ringtone Manager window . |
| Regular Call Ringtone |
Ringtone for regular calls - when the Use Custom Ringtones box is checked, this field is used to select a ring tone for regular calls. |

Ringtone for secured calls - when the Use Custom Ringtones box is checked, this field is used to select a ring tone for secured calls. |
