>>> 14-day Fully Functional Trial <<<
myKryptofon is the only phone available in the market today securing your voice, chat and file transfers with unique authentication and encryption technology, utilizing symmetric keys.
The information on this page will help you understand myKryptofon product selection and the download process. Please read this page before clicking the Download button.
What are VoIP and SIP?
myKryptofon is a VoIP (voice-over-internet protocol) phone utilizing a protocol called SIP.
Before you can communicate with another myKryptofon user, you will need your own free account on our VOIP/SIP server. This account will give you your own VoIP address.
You may have noticed that we'll be using the terms VoIP and SIP interchangeably.
Who Can I Talk To?
You need someone to call and chat with who also has myKryptofon . We recommend you ask a friend or co-worker to get a free trial of myKryptofon .
Which myKryptofon Do I Want?
myKryptofon currently comes in three flavors. You'll need to decide which flavor you want to try first. If you like, you can have one free sample of each. (We'll be adding more flavors in the near future.)

Why Must I go to the I.D. Rank Security On-line Store?
In order to setup your free SIP account on our SIP server, we'll need some general information from you (name, email address, etc.). We can then create your SIP account and assemble a custom download for the myKryptofon program, pre-configured to use your SIP account. We have this whole process automated at our on-line store.
Are there Licenses Involved?
Yes. Use of the myKryptofon program is controlled by a license granted by I.D. Rank Security, Inc. When you install a free trial of myKryptofon , you have a license for 14 days. When that license expires, you can purchase additional time at our VoIP Services Web Site.
VoIP Services Web Site - What's That?
The VoIP Services Web Site is the front end of our SIP Server. At this web site you can manage myKryptofon licenses (buy more time), purchase features (like voice mail), add funds to your account, and view your account activity. When your free SIP account is created, you will be sent login information for this web site.
So I'll be getting Emails?
Oh yes! Our process is automated, and a bit verbose. But more information is better than not enough. You will get emails from the On-line Store (shopidrs@idranksecurity.com) and from the VoIP Services Web Site (service@myKryptofon.com). Please make sure that your spam filter will not block these emails.
Microphone & Speakers / Headset
If you plan to install myKryptofon on a Windows PC, myKryptofon will use the Windows microphone and speakers for voice calls. Before using myKryptofon please verify that these devices are working. You can test them with the Windows Sound Recorder program (usually located at Start | Programs | Accessories | Entertainment | Sound Recorder).
For the best sound quality, use a headset instead of speakers.
What Problems Might I Have?
The SIP protocol was originally designed in 1996. It reached its current form in November 2000. Its been around for a few years - long enough for routers (LinkSys, D-Link, etc.), Internet Service Providers, and Cellular Service Providers, to recognize it. There are several routers and providers who intercept SIP messages and either block them completely, or change them. Either way, if the messages that myKryptofon sends do not arrive at the server exactly as they were sent, things won't work correctly. If this should happen to you, don't give up. Frequently the solution for many routers is a setting in the router or a matter of getting new firmware for the router. After you install myKryptofon , if it can not register successfully with the SIP server, or things don't seem to be working, send us an email. The solution is frequently simple. We also have an FAQ on our web site, addressing these issues.
